About the Program
IT For Youth Ghana offers a Coding Fundamentals course that provides a comprehensive introduction to programming for beginners. The two-month program covers the basic concepts of coding, problem-solving and web development and builds a foundation for further exploration in tech.
It is perfect for students and beginners, and technology enthusiasts who want to learn the basic concepts of coding. Through interactive lessons and hands-on projects, the structured curriculum teaches programming basics, logical thinking, and real-world applications.
Students will have created mini-projects and practical experience by the end of the program, which preps them for other advanced courses like the intensive six-month training program. If you are looking to step into a career in tech or just want to get the basics of coding skills, then this course is for you!

The original program cost is GHS 1,000, but thanks to institutional support, tuition is subsidized by 60%, reducing the fee to GHS 500. Full scholarships are available for highly motivated individuals who demonstrate passion and commitment. Eligible applicants will undergo interviews and assessments to qualify.
